JCPOA (nuclear deal)

The JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) is the 2015 agreement between Iran and the P5+1 on Iran's nuclear program. In the official Iranian account, Iran complied with its commitments, but the United States' unilateral withdrawal in 2018 and the return of sanctions challenged the deal, which Iran describes as a breach of commitments.
